How to Make Edible Chocolate Slime Without Cornstarch

SLIME!  It is so easy to make and fun to play with!   The kids love making their own slime. They will REALLY love this Edible Chocolate Slime ! It only uses 4 ingredients and you can lick your fingers while you make it.  Don't be afraid of littles eating the slime, they actually CAN eat this one!

While you may think it is just a fun faze, slime actually provides sensory and tactile benefits and can be calming and relaxing experience for kids! Give it a try and see the smiles on your kiddos faces!

Chocolate Slime Ingredients:

Edible Chocolate Slime Recipe

  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup
  • ¼ cup cornstarch plus more for kneading
  • 2 tablespoons olive or vegetable oil

Chocolate Slime Directions:

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stir together the sweetened condensed milk and chocolate syrup.

Stir in the cornstarch and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring often. Continuing simmering and stirring until thickened.

Lightly dust parchment paper or freezer paper with additional cornstarch. Turn the cooked dough onto the dusted surface and allow to cool to the touch.

Using the paper, knead the chocolate slime adding additional cornstarch if needed.

The slime will be sticky. To make handling the slime easier, knead in oil and play using oily hands.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
